Favorite Weird Music

What's yours? Mine are: Squarepusher, DJ Aneurysm, Basek, Bjork, DJ Spooky, Portishead, 396, Terbo Ted, Shortbus, The Orb...

I could go on, but I won't.

Do you think that listening to weird music is part of being a Weirdo? I'm noticing the older I get the weirder my taste in music becomes. Is this possibly evidence of me becoming a bigger Weirdo?

I like Sid Barret and 13th Floor Elevators and Flaming Lips..esp. early Lips//pre-she don't use jelly..and Frank Zappa and all kindsa stuff..but to me that's pretty normal.

I am in a band that almost qualifies as outsider music because we have one member who receives a check from the government for being crazy. (He also lives with us) He does alot of speaking in tounges on stage.
My favorite internet station, to which I listen all of the time is
    www.weirdsville.com/
    It is the best ever!!

I relived my youth not to long ago by going to see GWAR at The DNA Lounge with P-Raw and The Vegan. It was fucking great. Only, we were all dolled up in crazy-like and it seemed like everyone else there was in t-shirts and jeans. I would have totally thought that GWAR would have spunkier fans than that. Maybe they did back in the day (which is when I wanted to see them but I was young and my parents didn't let me go to concerts yet.)

On another note, I have a new favorite musical artist, Elizabeth "Libba" Cotton. She's a folk artist who died back in '87. She wasn't discovered until she was an old woman and since she was left handed she played her guitar upside down and backwards. She's was a fucking genius with a guitar. Y'all should check her out. One of her more popular tunes is "Shake Sugaree".
